Reading
Read by Anne Hoganson of St. Paul’s United Church (Halifax, Nova Scotia) from a busy street in Paris, France.
Reflection
Bri-anne was sick sick sick this week, so there isn’t really a reflection. Here’s what you need to know:
- We are meant to envision Wisdom as a woman, and a street preacher, standing on the streets at the city gates.
- She cries out for her people to listen, but they ignore her. This pisses her off.
- There is much to rail against in our world right now.
- However, we may be at a tipping point. Is it possible there are enough angry people in the world that we might actually start seeing some change? Shall we hold on to that hope?
